maggie gourlay

Maggie Gourlay is an artist and adjunct faculty member in the Art Department, Twoson State Univerisity.  Her work includes both installation and two dimensional work exploring time and place, often within the context of the home. ​ Her newest work are attempts to make her art more sustainable and are made from recycled paper and natural dyes. Maggie received  a DC Arts and Humanities Council Purchase Grants in 2012, was a semi-finalist for the Sondheim Prize in 2015 and the Trawick Contemporary Art Prize in 2010 and 2017. ​A graduate of Georgetown University, Gourlay received her MFA from Towson University where she was awarded a Graduate Art Department Fellowship.
